Artemis Plush (Young Justice: Season 1)

Description

This is an Artemis Plush I made for A-kon in May. She's from "Young Justice", season 1. She. Was. HARD. Her costume was absolutely evil, but I had fun! Her face...is not very good. The pen started oozing and I actually made it worse trying to ix it. But I think it came out okay.

Artemis is about 19 1/2 inches tall, about 4 1/2 inches side to side not including hands, 11 1/2 inches hand to hand, and 3 1/2 inches front to back, not including head. She was completely machine sewn and hand stitched. She's made from anti-pilling fleece, save for her hair which I believe was Blizzard fleece (I don't think they had that color in anti-pill). Her hair was hot glued on, save for the bottom layer which is her head and was sewn. It's tied up with a fabric strip. Her eyes were painted on with a fabric paint pin.

All of her clothing is removable! However...her shirt is a turtleneck and VERY difficult to get on and off. Though the cowl can stretch over her head and hang. Next time, I'll use velcro so it's easier to take off/put on. Also, the belt is, though not sewn on, un-removable from the pants because it is sewn shut inside of belt loops. It can turn around her person if pulled. And the pouches on it slide along within the confines of the belt loops. The pouches are sewn closed, but the threads can easily be cut open. I didn't do so before because the tops of them tend to stand up oddly.

Artemis is available for sale! If not bought before I start my etsy shop, she'll be listed there. If anyone is interested, please message me.

Note: Artemis's limbs are not wire or pose-able. Her neck is not supported, so her head is kinda floppy. I will fix this with future plushies. Any feedback is appreciated! Please help me improve my plushies!

I do not own Artemis or Young Justice. This is just a fan plushie that I made. Only the pattern belongs to me.
