Link plush

This is a Link (from Zelda) plushie I made. I ended up selling him at Allcon. He is completely handstitched, except for parts of his hair that were hot glued so that it'd stand up like it does and where his sword sheath connects to his sash, which was machine sewn. His eyes were sewn on as well. I'm not sure I like how they look very much...I think I'll probably try paint or something next time.

The lighting in this wasn't very good, as you can tell, so all of the colors are kind of washed out, but this is the best picture I have. Sorry about that. His shield has a strap sewn on the back, so he can hold it like he's doing in the picture, or it can be taken off to use as a mini pillow or something. His sword comes out of the sheath. The shield was also hand sewn. The sword is made of card board and hot glue, then stuffed with poly fill (so it's light, but pretty durable), and then covered with fabric, which, again was hand stitched on.

Link stands at about 17 inches tall. He's made of anti-pill fleece, cuddle fleece for colors I couldn't find in anti-pill, and his tunic was made of a horrible poly-suade mix that kept fraying on me, so I had to double-sew it. In all, the whole project took me probably somewhere between 30-35 hours.

I don't own Zelda, Link, or anything to do with the fandom. This was just a fan plushie that I made.
